I believe in rebellin' against one's age, by this i mean defying wrinkes, enlarged pores, dry skin, and those skin and facial ageing signs.
Although I do not have anything against ageing, I have this philosophy that when one is able to take care of herself (let's just use the momperspective), then that youthfulness disposition would remain despite one is at her forty-something years already.
What's wrong with a little wrinkle here and there? I think it has a psychological effect on women because we were born to be associated with femininity and beauty. Thus wrinkles and signs of ageing go against the woman's philosophy of being beautiful. Well, others may have their own philosophy.
Keeping one's youthful disposition by taking care of oneself is a positive way to embrace ageing I suppose. Motherhood is tight with domestic, routinary duties and hence challenging. But if a mom tries to keep her beauty as part of her daily activity, then this would be good for the emotional health of a mom.
So I say put on a makeup before you get out of the house, and never look at your age as a sign to get frumpy but instead, work for your ageless beauty.
Happy day moms!
