Gluta C Body Scrub Review: One Month Product Use

About a month prior to using Gluta C Body Scrub, I've  concocted a homemade body scrub using unused  kitchen left over  oat granola and coconut milk --  just out of a whim really because I like to experiment on my skincare routine.

A tub of Gluta C intense whitening body scrub can last over a month use.
However, I've really been looking for a commercially-available body scrub for convenience.
Because I don't have to mix the ingredients  and think of the proper storage unlike in a readily made product.

Gluta C Body scrub is a local brand-- and my first try to use a whitening scrub.  Previously I have used only a whitening soap.

Gluta C body scrub has gluthathione, Vitamin C and papaya enzyme as declared on the product label.

The product appears like a milky white cream consistency. It also has a citrus scent and you can actually feel both the smoothness  of the cream and  texture of the microbeads  on your palm once you scoop it out  to use.

With first use of the product, I did not have any  skin reaction.  Then my skin admittingly turned fairer in initial two weeks of use.   I've been slathering the product intermittently and it has been a month of my product use.

One thing I've noticed  is the instruction in the product label which says it can be used daily.

For me using it consistently on a daily basis is not ideal.  I've tried it for 3 consecutive days within a span of one week on my second week of Gluta C scrub use and I felt a little hurt on my skin already  even if I only used a minimal amount of the product on skin.  However, I did not have any reaction thus I opt to use the scrub in moderation.

This body scrub can be used by women my age if they wanna recover their fairness because it is effective with regular use and application.  Just do not use too much amount of the product especially on initial try.

The scrub can also be pretty drying after first use.  What I did is to use a moisturizer after  or combine the scrub with using a lavender-based moisturizer soap.  I  also applied on a generous amount of moisturizer after taking a bath-- either a sunflower, olive oil or shea based lotion to solve the dryness. Recently I also used an aloe gel moisturizer and it worked effectively well too,  to complement the whitening effects of the scrub.

I also put on a sunblock to protect my skin since going out as part of my mommy chores is unavoidable.  Any whitening efforts can be negated if one would still expose him/her skin to the sun without protection.

Otherwise, I think moms who want to take care of themselves can find a body scrub somehow not only beautifying but also relaxing as it feels like having a homespa nonetheless.

To date, I opt to use the Gluta C scrub once or twice a week and for me seeing my skin a little fairer just like what it used to be, is good enough.
