Sugar tint first impression

My favorite matte liquid lipstick has run out and I'm craving for a new lipstick of equal quality, since my similar items are stacked for use on special occasions.

And so I checked its availability but was told by an online store that the particular product I inquired  (Colorpop) is out of stock.

This gave me a better excuse to get and finally try the cosmetic brand that has become a word of mouth among Pinay vloggers- Pink Sugar.

Honestly, I was skeptical for an affordable lipstick to be   "that good".

But Pink Sugar has  a line of  products that's amiable enough to be compared to global brands,  and its reputation made me want to try  Sugar Tint.  I was thinking its comparable to the quality of Nyx cosmetics.

Sugar Tint is actualy a lip and cheek color; I however prefer to put it on as liptick since I have other cream blushes of my go to brands.

If I were to base it on initial impression, Sugar Tint  was  so pleasant to use that you can actually squeeze it in your cosmetic stash as a daily wear.

A whimsical design of the lipstick bottle gives a touch of newness and quirkiness  to Sugar Tint, but it is actually the scent that mesmerized me to the matte variant with a charming pink hue.

It smells sweet, the kind that reminds you of gum balls (remember the bubble gums of our kiddie days from the 1980s?). The lipstick also reminds me not just of candies,  but of all the sweet scents from my yesteryears.

Sugar  Tint's candyish top note  is just a tip of its lipstick niceties.

Try it on, one swipe and it's pretty-in-pink pigment stays on the lips and gives a pop of color against dullness and plainness.

I also checked if it is it really long-wearing because that's my reason for purchasing this new pink lippie.

Upon application, Sugar Tint did not smudge on my teeth, no transfer on paper too, and none  on my hand after a lip print.

Less skeptical after seeing how the matte quickly glided smoothly on my lips with a velvety feel.

Also dabbed water on my lips and it did not wear off.  It remained  nice and charming.  The matte lipstick did not emphasize my dry lips.  And the lipstick lasted for hours  (4 hours).

Taking my regular meal was the only activity in my bucket list that faded my lip color but not entirely.

I applied lipstick layering to bring back the lip color (I used a different shade) and this liquid lipstick bounced back to perfection as if it did not fade at all.

I also tried coating the matte color with lipgloss to check the difference and the pink hue became more pronounced in selfies.

So considering it's more affordable than other liquid lipsticks at Php 349.00 and with a quality even exceeding my expectation, Pink Sugar's Sugar Tint is a woman's lippie that's candyliciously pretty, and buy-worthy.
