Is spending on skincare worth it?

Non-skin care junkies may not be as enthusiastic in buying products frequently. To some, maybe any ordinary soap, any ordinary lotion are good enough.

But really, it may be a simple life for them, not having to worry about wrinkles, dry skin, or maybe those enlarged pores because after all, these things are part of aging. But should we really accept those wrinkled realities as a norm rather than a choice?

I know of men who want to stay true to their age, and wear their silver hair streaks as a symbol of twisdom, After all to them,  old age equals wisdom.

But really as women, should we welcome wrinkles and pores as part of our maturity affirmation as women? Must we stay along the road of aging without doing anything to take care of our skin and perhaps give us renewed vigor for doing so?

To me taking care of one's skin is essential to a healthy woman's esteem. I know of no one who doesn't want to feel beautiful or at least appreciated in whatever circumstance they're into. Women  are born to be the feminine voice of the world and that feminine voice redounds to one's daily aesthetics as a woman.

So to think of skincare as merely part of a consumerist lifestyle is a slim-minded approach to a woman's need for everyday beauty.  Skin care is essential when it means a woman knows how to give value to her self, her skincare and her esteem regardless of what others think of how a woman should be at any given age.
