Is Makeup Relevant in the Middle Age

After many years of blogging about makeup and skincare, and routinely changing my products, the question that means to moms in their fifties would be:  Is makeup still relevant as one enters middle age?

The answer would be yes and no.

For those gearing up for simplicity, skincare sans makeup routine would be the next best option to an uncomplicated beauty routine.

There is liberty in doing away with many steps of applying makeup, just to look beautiful as it gives more time for other essential things, and leaves more space for less clutter too.

But although it is liberating to free one from a multi-step beauty fleek, there is also a facet of getting old that allows one to remember her youth-- and that can be achieved by putting on a makeup.

What works and does not work for moms in their fifties must be trimmed down to basic makeup and skincare that must not be forgotten even if one has aged.

A good soap bar that does the job, a working toner, and a find of a moisturizer that embraces ones flaws. These are basics to skincare.

Meanwhile makeup but be less striking and vivid and must enhance the person's natural beauty rather than pour tons of colors that are meant to cover a person's natural looks.

These are the philosophy of beauty in the fifties for women.
